The Arizona Cardinals have relieved both head coach Ken Whisenhunt and GM Rod Graves of their respective duties.
Graves began his personnel journey with the USFL and the Philadelphia Stars 1982-1983, and spent time in the Chicago Bears personnel department from 1984 to 1996. He’s been GM of the Arizona Cardinals since 2003.
In that time, he drafted WR Anquan Boldin, WR Larry Fitzgerald, WR Steve Breaston, DT Antonio Smith, DT Darnell Dockett, MLB Karlos Dansby, MLB Daryl Washington, CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, CB Patrick Peterson, and DE Calais Campbell. Ultimately, it was he was fired for his inability to find O-line and QB. The Cardinals could promote one of their other personnel men in Steve Keim or Jason Licht (rumored to possibly be the next Browns GM).
