Cardinals Coach Steve Wilks Has a Plan for New QB Sam Bradford

The Cardinals open offseason practices next week, and it appears quarterback Sam Bradford will be a limited participant, at best.

Coach Steve Wilks met with reporters on Tuesday and said the goal of Bradford’s offseason work schedule is to keep the quarterback healthy for all 16 games in the upcoming season, Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic reports.

“I’ve seen what he can do over the years,” Wilks said. “I’m not concerned about trying to get him out there as quick as possible to be able to throw the ball. We’re going to make sure we’re giving Sam everything he needs to be successful, and we’ve created a plan and we’re trying to follow that plan.”
