Cardinals QB Carson Palmer Retires From the NFL

Carson Palmer, the Cardinals starting quarterback the past five years, announced his retirement on Tuesday afternoon, joining one of his former coaches, Bruce Arians, who stepped down on Monday, Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic reports.

Palmer, 38, ended his last season on injured reserve after suffering a broken left arm against the Rams in London in Week 7.
