Cards Ink Veteran OL Pat McQuistan

The Cardinals signed offensive tackle Pat McQuistan, a seven-year veteran, to a one-year contract, Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic reports.

McQuistan was cut by the Cowboys last week. He played for the Saints last year, the Dolphins in 2010 and the Cowboys from 2006-2009. He has played in 66 games with eight starts.

The Cardinals also placed Jeremy Bridges, a backup guard and tackle, on injured reserve because of a torn thumb ligament. He is out for the season.
