Levi Brown Has Surgery on His Torn Triceps Tendon

Levi Brown is having surgery on his tri, and while no decision has been made about him playing in 2012, all signs point to him being out for the entire season.

Cardinals’ left tackle Levi Brown was scheduled to undergo surgery this morning to repair a torn right triceps tendon, his agent Chafie Fields said. The Cardinals are awaiting the outcome of the surgery before making a decision on Brown’s status this season. The rehabilitation is a minimum of about three months, which means Brown couldn’t return until late in the season, at best. It’s questionable if the Cardinals would keep Brown on the roster for that long. If he is placed on injured reserve, he is out for the season.
