Darnell Dockett Hit with $30,000 Fine

Cardinals defensive lineman Darnell Dockett was fined $30,000 for a pair of infractions in last Saturday’s 23-16 loss to the Bengals, ESPN’s Mike Sando reports.

Dockett was flagged for roughing the passer in the second quarter when he had a low hit on Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton. In the fourth quarter, Dockett was penalized for a horse collar tackle on Bengals running back Bernard Scott, who had been dropped for a five-yard loss on the play.

The 30-year-old Dockett is earning $200,000 per week before taxes on his $3.4 million base salary this season.
