Feely’s OT Field Goal Lifts Cardinals over Browns 20-17

Larry Fitzgerald #11 of the Arizona Cardinals makes a catch in overtime to set up a field goal attempt

The Cardinals comeback magic was back on Sunday, as the team, trailing 17-7 in the fourth quarter, rallied to tie the game and then won it in overtime, topping the Browns 20-17.

The win came after rookie Patrick Peterson took a punt in OT back 32 yards, and then on 3rd-and-6, John Skelton found a wide open Larry Fitzgerald for a 32-yard completion down to the Browns four. The team wasted no time, as Jay Feely kicked a short field goal to seal the win.

Skelton ended his day with 313 yards, one touchdown and one interception on 28-of-46 passing in place of Kevin Kolb, who missed the game after sustaining a head injury in the Cardinals’ 21-19 win over the 49ers last week.

Andre Roberts had six receptions for 60 yards and a touchdown, while Todd Heap hauled in seven passes for 69 yards for the Cardinals (7-7). Beanie Wells ran for 51 yards and a score on 15 carries.

The Browns built a 17-7 lead in the fourth after Seneca Wallace hit WR Greg Little with a 76-yard TD that gave the Browns the 10-point lead with 3:01 left to play in the third quarter.

Wallace completed 18-of-31 passes for 226 yards and a touchdown in place of Colt McCoy, who missed the game with a concussion suffered in a Week 14, 24-10, setback to the Steelers.

Arizona has won four consecutive regular season games for the first time since the 1999 season.
