UPDATE: Kolb’s injury has been labeled as a “turf toe.”
As if losing a game after leading 24-3 isn’t bad enough, the Cards could have major issues on the injury front at the QB spot.
NFL.com reported today that Kevin Kolb played through a foot injury against the Ravens, an injury coach Ken Whisenhunt indicated could be a case of turf toe.
While as of right It’s not known how serious the injury is, but Kolb did leave M&T Bank Stadium with a walking boot on his right foot, reported the Arizona Republic.

That explains why Kolb was limited in the 2nd half. If he was so badly hurt, why didn’t they put in John Skelton in at QB. Heck, the Cardinals could have focused on running the ball more rather than get Kolb killed out there. Kolb got dinged for 6 sacks in the loss.
