NFL Owners to Determine if Arizona Should Host Super Bowl XLIX in 2015

The NFL’s 32 team owners will decide whether Arizona will host Super Bowl XLIX in 2015. The other city in the running is Tampa.

The NFL, in a new approach this year, invited only two locations to compete for its showcase game. Arizona boasts the basics of any good Super Bowl: warm winter weather, a top-of-the-line stadium and ample hotels and resorts. Its successful staging of Super Bowl XLII in February 2008 puts it firmly in the running to host another one.
