XTRA 910 Phoenix reports that Cards SS Adrian Wilson wasn’t happy with his on-field play in 2010, and his injury to his groin muscle hurt his season.
Cardinals strong safety Adrian Wilson admits his 2010 performance was “unacceptable,” and that playing through a torn abductor muscle affected his coverage ability. Wilson was routinely burnt in coverage, particularly by tight ends. The 31-year-old explained that the torn groin muscle affected his ability to “turn hips and change directions.” He should be better in 2011, but there still has to be concern that Wilson is slipping at his age.
