School Honors WR Fitzgerald with a Mural

The Arizona Republic reports that Buckeye Freedom Elementary School has honored Cardinals’ Larry Fitzgerald with a very cool mural.

For Black History month, Bryan Kilgore’s after-school art class honored Fitzgerald by painting a 9-foot mural of him in his red and white jersey No. 11.

Fitzgerald came to the Liberty School District school Monday to check out the mural and to meet the student artists.

“He talked to the kids and gave them excellent advice on life. The kids were so excited,” Kilgore said. “They got his autograph and he signed the wall. Our school will never be the same.”
