Max Hall is the man. At least for this week.
Darren Urban of AZCardinals.com reports that Hall will be starting Sunday at quarterback against the team that knocked them out of the playoffs last season the New Orleans Saints.
An undrafted rookie from BYU, Hall has completed 9-of-16 pass attempts for 85 yards and an interception in relief of Derek Anderson in two games this season. Hall won 32 games during his three-years as the starter at BYU, where he completed over 65% of his 1,383 pass attempts for over 11,000 yards and 94 touchdowns.
Due to his size (6-0, 202), Hall has drawn comparisons to Saints quarterback Drew Brees, though Hall lacks Brees’ arm strength, which partly contributed to his undrafted status.
