Outside Linebacker- Clark Haggans (strong side), Joey Porter (weak side)

Inside Linebacker- Gerald Hayes (strong side), ***Paris Lenon (weak side)

Cornerback- Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, Greg Toler

Strong Safety- Adrian Wilson

Free Safety- Kerry Rhodes

* Rookie Dan Williams should take over the starting position when he’s ready.  Whether that will be before week one is uncertain.

** If Deuce Lutui ends up signing his tender, it’s possible that Reggie Wells could move outside to right tackle or be left out of the starting five altogether.

*** Daryl Washington should have the best shot of all rookies to crack the starting lineup quickly, though it’s a tough position to learn in the NFL.  Paris Lenon is not a legitimate starter in this position.
