Head Coach Ken Whisenhunt will once again be calling the plays for the Cardinals in 2010. Passing game coordinator Mike Miller and running game coordinator Russ Grimm will also contribute a considerable degree of input.
Whisenhunt called the plays in 2007, but Todd Haley took over the duties during the Cards’ 2008 Super Bowl season. After [...]

If lifeguarding at the community pool or working indoors at the local mall this summer doesn’t appeal to you – but earning $50,000 and becoming an overnight celebrity road tripping with your best friend does – then grab your camera and prepare a one-minute video application for [...]
Organized team activities continued for the second week in Arizona. Here are some morsels.
Nehemiah Brouton has been taking all of the reps at fullback with the first team offense. This position, which was of much less value with Warner at quarterback, will most likely become much more critical to the offense in 2010 with a [...]
The Cardinals today made a couple moves off the field, as they promoted Quentin Harris to assistant pro personnel director and college scout. In addition to that, they also named Kyle Johnson a college scout.
Peter King in his “Monday Morning QB” says that for now, the Cards inking former Rams QB Marc Bulger makes no sense for the club:
I think it makes no sense for the Cardinals to sign Marc Bulger — unless Ken Whisenhunt, down deep, has decided Matt Leinart’s definitely not his man. And I don’t think [...]
There has been rumblings already in Arizona about the Cardinals brass not being happy about quarterback Matt Leinart, or offseason pickup Derek Anderson, but now it appears that is not the case. Cards GM Rod Graves says for now the team is happy with what they have at the QB spot.
This means that former [...]
The Arizona Republic reports that Cardinals defensive tackle Gabe Watson has dropped 30 pounds in an effort to alleviate his nagging knee injury, which required surgery in 2007 and 2009. Watson is apparently tired of the setbacks of playing at 360 lbs. He currently weighs around 330, but hopes to report to training camp at [...]
So the first day of OTAs is in the books for the Cardinals. One conspicuous participant was Pro Bowl defensive lineman Darnell Dockett, fresh off the debut (and hopefully end) of his on-screen career. Dockett, who has missed voluntary OTAs for the past few years, claims that he made promises to certain teammates that he would attend [...]
OTAs started today (5/18) at 1:30 p.m., ET. The Cardinals also made two more roster additions. They are WR Deryn Bowser, who participated in minicamp on a tryout basis, and Chris Johnson (not that Chris Johnson). This Johnson will join the linebacker core. Updates on how OTAs are progressing will be posted as they become available.
For those of you that don’t regularly read Peter King’s ‘Monday Morning QB’ column on SI.com, your missing out. King remains to me about the strongest writer in the NFL, and every week this column never lets me down when it comes to the pulse of the league.
Today he did [...]
