Whisenhunt Takes the Blame for the Almost Setback vs the Texans

It’s interesting to hear coach Ken Whisenhunt actually call HIMSELF out after the teams 28-21 win over the Texans:

It isn’t often you hear an NFL head coach criticize himself after a victory. That’s what Ken Whisenhunt did Monday, however, a day after the Cardinals’ 28-21 win over the Houston Texans. He blamed himself at least a few times and he did so without the screws ever really being put to him. First, he was asked about the Cardinals’ surging run defense, which has allowed 71 yards per game, second-best in the league to the Dolphins entering their game Monday night. It’s good, Whisenhunt said, but it could have been even better Sunday. He said he neglected to bring out the portable mega-amplifiers late last week in practice to get his players ready for the crowd noise at University of Phoenix Stadium.
