Were the Cardinals not on the same page Sunday? If you ask Anquan Boldin, he says that’s exactly one of the issues that took place:
What’s wrong with the Cardinals? “I don’t think we’re missing anything,” receiver Anquan Boldin said. “I just think we didn’t play disciplined football. There’s too many times where guys took turns making mistakes. It was evident we weren’t on the same page every play on Sunday.” Fixing it will take a collective effort, Boldin said, because the mistakes were diverse. If only one player was the problem, he could be benched, but that’s not the situation. The Cardinals had 12 penalties, six on offense. Three were false starts and one was a delay of game. Each time, it was a different player responsible. “It’s not hard to fix,” Boldin said. “Offsides is not hard to fix. Delay of game is not hard to fix. We probably had six pre-snap penalties. That’s something you can control.”
I’d have to say Mr.Boldin is right, but for those who watched the game that is not breaking news.
