Posted in The Arizona Republic says that Ken Whisenhunt says he’s not rushing to name Matt Leniart as his number two QB:
Matt Leinart has played better than Brian St. Pierre in two preseason games, but Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt isn’t in a rush to name a No. 2 quarterback. “I don’t think I have to, do I?” he said, smiling. “I think I’m going to wait and see how it goes for the next two weeks.” When asked about Leinart’s development, Whisenhunt pointed to a play in the Chargers game where Leinart, under pressure, moved in the pocket and then dumped the ball to a running back.
