Posted in The Cardinals have spent quite a bit of money on just a couple of key players on their roster. Mike Sando of ESPN reports that the team has spent a whopping $47.2 million of their salary cap on just five players:
Kurt Warner $11.5M
Larry Fitzgerald $10.7M
Karlos Dansby $9.7M
Adrian Wilson $9.4M
Mike Gandy $5.8M
All in all, that’s quite a bit of the teams cap on just a few players. Now with Anquan Boldin awaiting a new deal, the team had better be careful not to wrap up too much more money in players or they are going to have problems building for the future.
