Cardinals Ready to Talk Again w/ Wilson and Dansby

The Cards are ready to start talking again to two main players on the roster – SS Adrian Wilson and ILB Karlos Dansby.  The Arizona Republic reported that the talks started last week, and it should not take too long to figure out if a deal could get done.  “I would say our communications and efforts have stepped up since minicamp ended,” GM Rod Graves said. “I don’t want to get into details but I can tell you we have had discussions.”

Dansby has a new agent, Todd France, which is what could have been taking things so long as far as talks are concerned to get started again.  The team was in talks with his former agent, Eugene Parker, but he’s no longer in the picture.  Dansby’s said he was looking forward to free agency in 2010, when there may not be a salary cap.  Wilson has said he wants to stay in Arizona.
