The Arizona Republic reports today that former Cards DE/OLB Travis LaBoy could miss the entire 09 season after having surgery. Here’s the report:

Former Cardinals defensive end/outside linebacker Travis LaBoy is scheduled to undergo surgery on an ankle later this month, casting doubt on his ability to play in 2009. LaBoy’s agents confirmed the plan for surgery, and the ankle injury appears to be the major reason the Cardinals released LaBoy two weeks ago. LaBoy played through a series of injuries last year, including a torn biceps muscle, which required surgery at the end of the season.
