Pro Football Weekly wrote recently that safeties Matt Ware and Aaron Francisco could be on their way out with the recent drafting of Rashard Johnson and the pick up of Keith Lewis. Here’s the report:

The word in the desert is that, after drafting S Rashad Johnson in the third round and earlier picking up free-agent safety/special-teamer Keith Lewis, the Cardinals might be thinking about cutting veteran safeties Matt Ware and Aaron Francisco. “Ware is in more trouble than Francisco, who has been the team’s best all-around special-teams guy,” a team insider told PFW. “But Francisco also could be a bit pricey at $1.25 million this year.”
