The Cards official site is reporting that the team will have veteran tight end Dominique Byrd go through minicamp on a tryout basis. Byrd was a one-time draft pick of St.Louis. He was out of football, but the Cardinals did take a look at Byrd during USC’s pro day earlier this month.

He was a 3rd round pick of the Rams back in 2006, and in 2007 played in four games, making four catches for 44 yards.
