Pro Football Weekly reports that the Cards are likely going to have head coach Ken Whisenhunt calling the plays in 2009. Here is the report:
Regardless of whom the Cardinals name to replace Todd Haley as the offensive coordinator — offensive line coach Russ Grimm is currently considered the best bet — we hear head coach Ken Whisenhunt is expected to reassume the team’s play-calling duties, with plans to eventually turn those duties back over to the new coordinator the same way he did with Haley late in the 2007 season.
