Warner May Be the Peacemaker in the Battle Between Boldin and Cards

Anquan Boldin has already gone on record about not going back to the Cards in 2009, but QB Kurt Warner, who may or may not be back himself, may be the key to trying to get Bolidn back in a Cardinals uni. Here is the report from the USA Today.

Kurt Warner says there are times where he “leans both ways,” in his debate between whether to return to the Arizona Cardinals next season or retire at age 37. But one indicator that he may be leaning toward a return to the team he led to within two minutes and 37 seconds of a Super Bowl XLIII championship is that Warner hopes to play the peace broker between wideout Anquan Boldin and management. Boldin said last week there’s an irreparable rift with the organization over his contract situation and he mistrusts the Cardinals because he contends his contract, with two years remaining, was supposed to be re-done last offseason.
