Hightower Looks Ready to Take Cards Starting RB Spot
Posted by Matt Loede on November 1st, 2008 in News

It looks as if the transformation of Tim Hightower to becoming the starting RB over Edgerrin James has started in Arizona. The East Valley Tribune is reporting that Hightower received most of the first and second team snaps with the team in Friday’s practice session.
There has been talk about Hightower getting more carries and eventually taking the job from James, and it looks more and more that is going to happen. During the last two games, Hightower has 19 touches from scrimmage, and James just 16. While James is still the official starter, don’t look for that to last long.
