Cards Return Home for Big Game Sunday vs Bills

The Cardinals return to University of Phoenix Stadium at 2-2 after a two-game road swing. After falling 24-17 to the Redskins in week 3, the team remained in the DC area before traveling to New Jersey where the Cards lost to the Jets 56-35 last Sunday.

This week, they play their second home game of the year. Arizona is 7-2 at home under second-year head coach Ken Whisenhunt and currently riding a four-game home win streak.

A sell-out this Sunday would be the team’s 24th consecutive since opening the doors of University of Phoenix Stadium in August of 2006. The Cardinals will try to continue their three game home winning streak against teams from the AFC this week when they face Buffalo.

The undefeated Bills (4-0) are off to their best start since their Super Bowl season of 1992 when they also started 4-0. This Sunday marks Buffalo’s inaugural visit to University of Phoenix Stadium and first trip to Arizona since 1999. The Bills are coming off a 31-14 win over the St. Rams last week. They were trailing as late as the third quarter before rattling off 24 consecutive points to close out the game on the road.

The Cardinals remain home next week to face their former NFC East foe the Dallas Cowboys in a 1:15 PM start while the Bills enter their bye week after two consecutive road games against the NFC West.
