Warner Deal Set to Get Done Before Camp Starts?

It looks as if good news is ready to come the way of Cards QB Kurt Warner, who has been looking for a new deal from the team for some time.  Pro Football Weekly is reporting that Warner is expected to get his contract extension done before training camp starts.  Mark Bartelstein, Warner’s agent said, “Both sides would like to get something done within the next couple of weeks. Kurt is obviously a critical piece of the team.”  Last season Warner threw for 27 touchdowns and 3417 yards.  The TD totals were third most in the NFC, and second most in Cards history.
