Cardinals Sign Punter Johnson

The Cardinals signed free-agent punter Dirk Johnson to a one-year deal on Wednesday.  Johnson appeared in one game for the Chicago Bears last season after being signed on September 16th.  He was released only 10 days later.  Over four seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, the 32-year-old Johnson punted for a 41.7-yard average, including a career-high 38.4 net yards per punt in ‘05.
