The Cards today purged their roster with the release of FS Terrence Holt, DL Chris Cooper, and OT Oliver Ross. Holt played just one season with the team, and was pretty bad as he tried to make the move from strong safety to play free safety. He had 69 tackles with no picks in 16 games.  Cooper was a defensive end that played two years in Arizona, 13 games in 2006 and 12 games last season.  He had just six tackles this past year.  As for Ross, word is his career might be over.
