Berry

The Cards and defensive end Bertrand Berry today agreed to restructure the final year of his contract.  The DE was set to make $4 mil this season, which was the last of his five-year deal he signed with the Cards as a free agent in 2004.  He has been hurt quite a bit the last few seasons, this after having an outstanding first season with the Cards as he led the NFC in sacks with 14.5.  Berry missed eight games in 05, six games in 06, and seven in 07.  The rumor was that Berry was going to be let go if he and the Cardinals were unable to come to terms on restructuring his contract.
