Boldin Says He’ll be 100 Percent for 2008

Cards wide Anquan Boldin out didn’t have a healthy season, as he played with both a fractured hip and a dislocated toe. There is good news for Boldin though, as AZCardinals.com is reporting that he will not have to have surgery and should be 100 percent once the 2008 season kicks off in September. “It feels different already,” Boldin said. “It’s amazing what rest can do for the body. “I don’t have to have any surgeries, which is a good thing. I am just working out, trying to stay in shape and trying to heal up.” Coach Ken Whisenhunt says that Boldin should be ready to go when the team kicks off training camp in July. “I’m not worried about it at all,” Boldin said about any long term damage to the hip. Even playing hurt, Boldin had 71 grabs this past season for 853 yards and 9 touchdowns.
