Cardinals Host Falcons In NFC Bout

The Cardinals return home this week to host the Falcons at University of Phoenix Stadium. The Cardinals are 6-and-8 and were knocked out of playoff contention after losing two straight. Arizona fell 31-24 to the New Orleans Saints last week. Kurt Warner threw for three scores but had two costly turnovers in the loss. Four of the six Cardinal victories this season have come at home. The much-maligned Falcons come in at 3-and-11 and will be happy to put this treacherous season behind them. Atlanta has dropped five straight after getting routed 37-3 by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last Sunday. The Falcons are tied with two other teams for the second-worst record in the NFL. Atlanta has won the last four meetings between the two squads.
