The Cardinals are now officially out of playoff contention, following the Minnesota Vikings’ win over the Chicago Bears last night.  Philadelphia, Detroit and Chicago also saw their playoff hopes evaporate with the result.  Cardinals first year coach Ken Whisenhunt says he’s disappointed and believes the team will improve as it learns from his mistakes.  He contends the Cards are a better team than the record would indicate.
