It didn’t take the Arizona Cardinals long to replace ineffective punter Mike Barr, who was released on Tuesday. The team announced the signing of 13-year veteran punter Mitch Berger on Thursday; Berger was a 6th-round pick from Colorado selected by Philadelphia in 1994. He was out of football in 1995, then spent 6 seasons with Minnesota. He also punted for St. Louis for one season before going to the New Orleans Saints in 2005.
