Cardinals Lose Green For Season

The Cardinals placed cornerback Eric Green on injured reserve Tuesday, thus ending his season.  Green tore his groin in Sunday’s 37-31 overtime loss to San Francisco while tackling 49ers running back Frank Gore.  Green notched 51 tackles over 11 games this season for the 5-and-6 Cards.  Arizona re-signed defensive end Bo Schobel to fill the roster spot.  The team also released punter Mike Barr and tight end Tim Euhus.
