The Cardinals signed Tim Hasselbeck Tuesday with the hopes he can help their quarterback woes.  The team started the season with Matt Leinart and Kurt Warner as signal-callers, but lost Leinart to a broken collarbone a few weeks ago.  Last week, the team signed Tim Rattay to back up Warner, but the latter injured his non-throwing elbow in Sunday’s loss to the Panthers.  Rattay came in and completed only 50-percent of his passes and was picked off three times.  Hasselbeck’s only passing stats came in 2003, when he was 95-of-117 for Washington.  That season, the brother of Seattle’s Matt Hasselbeck threw for just over a thousand yards and five scores while being picked off seven times.  To make room for Hasselbeck on the roster, the team released defensive end Quentin Moses.
