Larry Fitzgerald, top, celebrates with teammate Reggie Wells after catching a 7-yard pass for a touchdown

Roderick Hood had a 68-yard interception return for a touchdown as the Arizona Cardinals held off the St. Louis Rams 34-31 at the Edward Jones Dome.  Hood had another interception to go along with two tackles to lift Arizona’s record to 3-and-2 on the season.  Kurt Warner threw for 190 yards and a touchdown, completing 14-of-28 passes after Matt Leinart broke his left collarbone in the first half.  Edgerrin James added 88 yards on the ground, while Larry Fitzgerald led all receivers with 136 yards on nine catches.  Gus Frerotte [[ fur-ROT ]] played for the injured Marc Bulger and tossed for 262 yards and three scores, but also threw three picks.  Rookie Brian Leonard rushed for his first 100-yard game in the absence of Stephen Jackson, but it wasn’t enough as the Rams fell to 0-and-5.  The Cards host Carolina next week, while the injury-ridden Rams head to Baltimore.
