Despite getting the win over the Steelers last Sunday, the Cards are still looking for more offense, and just may get it this week when leading wide out Anquan Boldin returns to the starting lineup. Boldin missed the Pittsburgh game with a hip injury, but an exam on the hip showed nothing new as far as damage, and it looks as if he will practice starting today and look to give it a go vs the Rams Sunday on the road.
Boldin hurt the hip in the loss to the Ravens two weeks ago. Also the team got some more good news when it was announced that Steve Breaston was named the NFC’s Special Teams Player of the Week. Breaston, the teams 5th round draft choice, took back a punt 73 yards vs the Steelers for a 14-7 lead in the 4th quarter on Sunday. It was the first Cards punt return for a score in 14 years.
