Ross Out, Brown In as Cards O-Line Makes Move

The Cardinals have lost offensive lineman Oliver Ross for an undisclosed amount of time after it was announced Monday that he will have surgery to repair a torn triceps tendon. Ross, a starter on the O-line, will be replaced by first-round draft choice Levi Brown, who will take over at right tackle. Brown had a tough time last week in practice, and the loss of Ross may becoming more glaring as the season gets ready to start. “We singled him out there a couple of times in pass protection, which he did much better than he had shown in practice,” coach Ken Whisenhunt said of his number one pick.
