No Truth to Rumor of Warner to the Vikings

One rumor that the Cards have recently shot down is the one that would involve the shopping of quarterback Kurt Warner around the league.  There has been word that one team that would totally be interested in grabbing the Cards backup QB would be the Minnesota Vikings, who currently are starting second-year QB Tavaris Jackson.  That speculation was put to rest this past week by Cards coach Ken Whisenhunt, who shot down any thoughts the Vikings would have of even have of making a call about Kurt.  “They can’t have him” Whisenhunt said about moving Kurt.  The Cards are suspect after starter Matt Leinart and Warner, as the other two QB’s in camp are Shane Boyd and Toby Korrodi, who both have never taken a snap in a regular season game.
